Anna and Dylan’s wedding at King Family was years in the making. They knew that King Family was their venue way before they even got engaged. Why pick a venue so far in advance? Anna’s mother was the first person to get married at King Family Vineyards, (well- second after a member of the King family!) and with Anna growing up only a few minutes from the winery, they couldn’t imagine their wedding anywhere else!
There were so many unique aspects to this celebration. The wedding cake was made using a meaningful family recipe, but there were also Boston cream pies as a nod to Dylan’s Boston roots! And a special song was played at the reception to celebrate the birthday of one of the bridesmaids. In a truly special moment, Anna started the father-daughter dance with her birth father and invited her step father to the dance floor halfway through the song. He was so moved by the gesture, that the entire Carriage House had tears in their eyes witnessing this sweet moment.
You can see the absolutely stunning photos below. There was a hurricane two days prior to the wedding, and as you know 2018 was a rainy year! Luckily, Anna + Dylan’s celebration was bright and full of joy- maybe we can thank their buried bottle of bourbon for that good luck!

Anna’s review of Mary Elizabeth Events, from WeddingWire:
Mary was so great to work with! We could not have made it through our wedding day without her! My fiance and I moved to a new city and both started new jobs all within three months of the wedding which was a huge additional stressor. Mary worked around our crazy schedules and helped keep us on track with planning and the million details that have to fall in to place before the big day. There were so many details that I never would have thought to prepare for without Mary reminding me. I never felt overwhelmed though because I knew Mary had everything under control to make our wedding wonderful. Mary was so thoughtful and caring and did everything in her power to make my dream wedding a reality.
